Over a million nights of safe housing.

Thousands of survivors provided with resources and a fresh start.

Countless inspirational survivors and resilient children breaking the cycle of violence.

As we begin recognizing WINGS 40th Anniversary, we reflect on these accomplishments that YOU, our supporters have empowered us to achieve.

The Why

While our innovative and comprehensive services have grown considerably over the years to make WINGS the largest provider of domestic violence services in Illinois, the need for our services continues to rise as well.

The Illinois Domestic Violence Hotline has received more than 47,000 contacts in 2023, a 90% increase from pre-pandemic 2019.

The Challenge

Starting now, WINGS is challenging teams of supporters to come together to raise funds for the Spreading Our WINGS Campaign. This initiative is expanding our award-winning services to meet the increased needs we are seeing and expand to more communities.

WINGS 40 Hours of Giving will take place starting midnight on Friday, April 25th through 4pm on Saturday, April 26th.

The Perfect Time

Thanks to a generous $100,000 challenge grant, all new donations will be matched – doubling your donation! All increased giving over last year will be matched!
