Happy Pride 2025!

Celebrating Pride

Happy Pride Month from mindyourmind!! Pride is an amazing time to celebrate joy and love in the most colourful and vibrant ways. When I think of pride, I think of rainbows and festivities and parades and though pride is all of those things, it’s also a time to reflect on how much has changed in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community (including how the acronym has evolved!) and all the ways we can continue to work toward equality. All while celebrating the love at the same time!

mindyourmind and PRIDE

In case you didn’t know, mindyourmind.ca has been around since 2004! This means that we have a long and rich history of sharing stories from youth and young adults across Canada, talking about their journeys with mental health and everything that accompanies these conversations. As we’ve shared stories and celebrated the voices of 2SLGBTQIA+ members, we’ve also shared wellness tips, bits of history and other information about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This month feels like a great time to go back and look at their stories through the years, as well as the full history of content on 2SLGBTQIA+ on mindyourmind.ca!
