Safe Horizon Announces Sonia Sande and Luke Sarsfield as New Board Co-Chairs

NEW YORK – Safe Horizon, the nation’s largest victim service organization, announced Sonia Sande and Luke Sarsfield as new co-chairs of its Board of Directors today.

Sande has been on Safe Horizon’s board for the past decade, most recently serving as Vice Chair & Secretary, lending her experience in people operations, strategic planning and inclusivity in addition to championing Safe Horizon’s advocacy efforts. Sande was honored by Safe Horizon with the Distinguished Service Award in 2023.

Sande is the EY Global Consulting Talent Leader and has previously served as the EY Americas Consulting Talent Leader and the Northeast Performance Improvement Growth Leader. She has also served on the firm’s Inclusiveness Advisory Council for several years. She was recognized with a “Women Leaders in Consulting” achievement award from Consulting Magazine in 2018.

Sarsfield joined Safe Horizon’s board in 2018, most recently serving as Treasurer, ensuring the financial health of the organization.

Sarsfield is the Board Chair and Chief Executive Officer of P10 Holdings. Prior to joining P10, he worked at Goldman Sachs for more than 23 years, where he held numerous senior leadership roles in asset management, including Global Co-Head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Chief Commercial Officer of Asset and Wealth Management, and Global Co-Head of the Client Business within Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Previously, Sarsfield was a senior leader in Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division, where he served as Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group, Global Chief Operating Officer of Investment Banking, and Co-Head of the Healthcare Group in the Americas. Additionally, he served as a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Partnership Committee.

Jeff Brodsky is the outgoing board chair. He is returning to the board after his three-year term as chair. Brodsky is a Senior Advisor at Morgan Stanley. In this role, he works directly with senior leaders and the Board of Directors on a variety of matters. Jeff was the CHRO from 2010-2021. During his decade of service on Safe Horizon’s board, Brodsky has brought tremendous energy, vision and resources to Safe Horizon.
