State and local officials speak on efforts to prevent domestic violence; launch billboard campaign for awareness month


HOUSTON – Aid to Victims of Domestic Abuse (AVDA) held a press conference Tuesday for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, announcing the launch of its billboard campaign.

City and state officials shared updates on efforts to prevent domestic violence as well as AVDA’s services to support survivors.
